Why Edison pearls
Edison pearls are considered a "luxury" choice because they are distinguished by their larger size and intense luster. For this very reason, they require much more rigorous selection: to achieve a harmonious necklace like this one, I chose nearly perfectly round pearls with luminous surfaces and deep tones. The result is a piece of jewelry that, at first glance, conveys quality — and at the first touch, confirms it.
Perle: Edison coltivate d’acqua dolce.
Diametro: circa 11–12 mm.
Lunghezza: 45 cm.
Infilatura: eseguita completamente a mano con nodini tra una perla e l’altra.
Chiusura: metallo prezioso, argento 925 con placcatura rodiata
Pezzo unico: riceverai esattamente la collana fotografata.
There are nights when a single shooting star is enough to remind us that we still have wishes to treasure.
From that image, Stella Cadente (Shooting Star) was born: a collection inspired by those dreams whispered to the sky, entrusted to the stars, and never truly forgotten.
Each piece of jewelry is conceived as a small trail of light to wear: a delicate talisman that holds the moment of the wish, when we close our eyes, take a deep breath, and let the light of the stars take care of it.
Wearing Stella Cadente means carrying your most secret wishes with you, but with an extra touch of the sky. ✨🌙
There is a special night captured in this necklace: the one where you look up at the sky, see a star fall, and entrust it with your most secret wish.
Stella Cadente is the manifesto piece of the collection, designed for those who love bold, luminous pieces that do not go unnoticed.
The deep blue baroque pearls are large, full-bodied, and rich with purple and petrol reflections: each one has been chosen for its size, luster, and surprising uniformity, to create a dramatic yet harmonious strand around the neck.
At the center, a large 18k gold-plated 925 sterling silver star with an irregular surface, completely handcrafted, catches the light like a small fragment of the sky.
The pendant is removable: you can wear the necklace with the star for a "wow" evening effect, use only the pearl strand for a more sober elegance, or attach the star to other chains and ribbons you already own. A single piece of jewelry, many possibilities.
Why you must have it:
🌌 For the very large and selected deep blue baroque pearls, with a deep, magnetic color, AA++ grade, and AAA luster
✨ Because it is indeed a statement piece, ideal for the holidays, but it also becomes perfect beyond the Christmas season by removing the pendant, and most importantly, it makes an impact even with simple outfits
🤍 For the versatility of the removable pendant: multiple ways to wear it, a single investment
💃 Because every detail is handcrafted with the care and time of true artistry
🎁 Because it is not just a simple necklace, but a little shooting star that reminds you never to stop wishing and dreaming, because it is a truly unique artisanal piece to collect and wear ✨

The art of cameo carving is an entirely Italian tradition, which finds its home of excellence in Torre del Greco. Melania, having always been passionate about cameos, collaborates with carefully selected, award-winning master engravers from Torre, who transform her designs and ideas into little masterpieces hand-carved on shell.
One of Melania's missions has always been to reinterpret the cameo in a contemporary key, making it a current, versatile jewel suitable for any age. A way to preserve and pass on a precious art, so that it may continue to live on through time.
🌸 The meaning of the camellia
A symbol of perfection, refinement, and devotion, the camellia is a flower charged with meaning. In Eastern culture, it represents admiration and eternal love, while in the West, it is often associated with elegance and understated beauty. Wearing these earrings means carrying with you a symbol of grace and harmony, perfect for those who love refined accessories rich in history.
