For a small business like mine, it's not easy to create 100% customized jewelry.
Due to logistical and time constraints, I chose a long time ago not to create the silver components myself, and by components, I mean the smaller silver parts like posts and other types of earring findings, pins, silver charms, clasps, etc.
Creating this type of "equipment" by hand requires, in addition to very specific skills, a lot of time and very expensive equipment, as well as a lot of space (to house the very expensive equipment LOL).
Not wanting to sacrifice the customer care and packaging aspect, I therefore chose to delegate the production of these small parts to external collaborators, obviously always Italian and verified workshops.
The difficult part comes now, however: almost no one is willing to customize a silver component with your brand unless you can afford to order thousands of pieces, which, given the cost of silver, is practically impossible for a small artisanal business.
It took several months to find a collaborator willing to do it, and, once I finally found one, it then took just as many months to design everything, produce the small parts, and, finally, test the jewelry.
That's why the CUORE MELANY earrings were born at least 6 months after I started thinking about them and visualizing them in my mind...
I wanted a heart, but not the usual heart, I wanted it to be special, well-designed, and, above all, to be the signature heart of Melania Gorini Gioielli.
I wanted them large, because Maxi earrings are my favorite jewelry and because they always save your look, even in "emergency" situations.
However, I also wanted them light, comfortable, luminous, and personalized with something that feels like mine... like pearls, or hard stones!
And, on the back of the heart, I wanted my "MGJ" logo embossed.
After long days of study, various tests, bated breath, here they are...
The most beautiful thing, in addition to seeing the first fully branded Melania Gorini Gioielli earrings "born", was letting you choose their name.
Through a social media poll, we found the name of this very important piece of jewelry for me:

And it truly is a dream come true to be able to offer you the first versions with white, pink, and gray pearls, along with the novelties of October.
Awaiting the model with dangling hard stones before Christmas.
